the pc could not recognize your web cam, try to plug out your usb web cam and blow or wipe the usb of your usb webcam. also try to plug it in to other usb port of your pc. if nothing happens, maybe the web cam it is the problem. and just to make sure that the web cam your using is the problem, try other usb web cam to see if its working on your pc. if the other web cam works on your pc, the web cam your using is damage, and if the other webcam is also not working, the usb ports of your computer is the problem. thank you for choosig fixya. if you have other question regarding to this problem, just post it.
did you have it already plugged in when you started the install, that can cause this. best bet remove all related software and drivers, see if you can to an automatic upgrade to your USB drivers, then reinstall the software and drivers before inserting the webcam.
PLUG OUT YOUR WEB CAM, RESTART YOUR PC, THEN LOAD THE DRIVERS FOR THE WEB CAM PROVIDED. REMEBER NOT TO PLUG YOUR WEB CAM USB IN SAME PORT YOU CONNECTED BEFORE, PLUG IT INTO OTHER ONE ONTOP OR BESIDE IT, PLUG IT.. IT WILL SEARCH FOR THE DRIVERS, SELECT ..AUTOMITICALLY INSTALL DRIVERS, HOPE IT WORKS
The only other thing that I would suggest you try to do is (if possible) goto another PC or maybe a friends PC and plug the web cam in. If it does the same thing then the web cam no longer works. If it does work, then you may want to try another USB port on your PC.
If you have already plugged the USB device into the system before loading the driver, Windows will install a driver for you call “unknown device”.The steps to fix this are to plug the USB device into the computer, then click <Start> <Control Panel> then go into <system>.In there you will need to find the device manager under the hardware tab. When you are in the device manager, you will see a list of all of the hardware install in the computer. Most of them will have the + in front of them showing all is good. There should be one that stands out and most likely, this will be your USB device. At this point you will want to right click the USB device and click remove.Unplug the USB device from you system and reinstall the software. If the software is already install in the system you may be able to just plug the USB device back into the system and it will find the driver.
due to usb cable problem it couldnt be recognized.
did you change the usb cable? or it could be the driver problem.
First install the software for this camera and then plug the webcam to your usb port and it will automatically detect ur web cam and it will ask your webcam driver too.
