Are you getting any errors when you turn it on?

Usually if you are having an issue like that you will get an error. I have a old Radio Shack HTX 404 that the battery that keeps the memory "alive" is shot, so if I turn it off for more than an hour it loses everything. But when I power it on....it throws an error at me before I do the reset.

Kenwood TS-2000 Power up fails

You will likely have to do a reset on the radio. The method to do this is hard to find in the manual. I have inserted it below. It usually works for me. Doing a full reset will reset EVERYTHING. It is essentially a last ditch attempt to get the radio going again. I hope this helps

PARTIAL RESET
Perform a Partial Reset if a key or control does not
function according to the instructions in this manual.
The following data is NOT erased by performing a
Partial Reset.
• Memory channel data
• Menu settings
• Antenna tuner preset data
• ANT 1/ANT 2 data.
Reset the transceiver by pressing [A/B]+ POWER
ON.
• "HELLO" appears on the display.
FULL RESET
Perform a Full Reset if you want to erase all the data
in all the memory channels. In addition, this function
resets all the settings that you customized, to the
factory defaults (i.e.- menu settings, antenna tuner
preset data, etc.).
Reset the transceiver by pressing [A=B]+ POWER
ON.
A confirmation message appears when performing
the Full Reset. Press the [A=B] key to proceed.
Otherwise, press any other key to cancel the Full
Reset and return to normal operation.
When you perform the full reset:
• "HELLO" appears on the display.
• All frequencies, modes, memory data and AT
preset data are set to the factory default values
(refer to "INITIAL SETTINGS", above).

Kenwood TM-281 channel

Hello Jason,

I take it you do not have the user manual for this radio, if this is so try this: join yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, there's a wealth of info and advice available plus, you can download manuals, diagrams and more for your radio, and it's all completely free.

I hope I have helped you here.

Cheers,

Data full, delette data on Nokia N91

files sent by bluetooth go to the phones own memory. You have to move them to your memory card manually, you may have 2 copies of some files , 1 in memory and 1 on the card.

Have you tried to change to a new theme? If the system memory is full or near full this can freeze the phone, sometimes even not allowing it to start.
Some Java program if allowed to autostart can Freeze the phone. To see which programs are running go to All menu> small touch button on the left lower side with three line (menu) > Task Manager. This will show how many program are running, and also system memory status. If it is near 85 or so, you may need to close some program
In the same menu there is Memory status. This will show you what is taking up how much amount of memory. If the memory is more then 85 to 90 % full, you will need to delete some files. This can be done in file manager.
You can even try a master reset. (REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOU DATA FIRST)
