Question about Oregon Scientific Electric PTO Clutch for Cub Cadet, MTD and Warner
The PTO on my LT1050 will not engage. I have jumped wires from the battery to the PTO and it works fine that way. I am assuming that it could be the PTO switch, the Reverse Overide, or a safety switch. I have checked all of the safety switches first and they seem to be fine, however, I only know of two. The seat switch, and the reverse switch.
1.) Are there more than two? If so, where are the others?
2.) The reverse Overide will not light up. Could that be a safety switch problem, or should it light up anyway regardless of the safety switch condition?
Do you have a volt meter or a 12 volt test light?..if you do you can see where you are losing your voltage at..but i would suspect the PTO switch is bad..i hope this has helped.....Keith
