Question about Apple iPod touch
Your ipod may have just crashed for an unknown reason, but the only solution to this problem is to follow what the ipod says on the screen in order to gain access to your ipod again.
Note: you will loose anything, itunes will erase all contents from the ipod.
Open Itunes and connect the ipod touch to your computer, itunes will atomically recognize the ipod like it always does and will download system software from apple and restore your ipod. this process will take a little bit longer but wait till it finishes.
after restoring your ipod, you can configure your ipd like you did the first time.
