Changed fuel pump not pumping fuel not working correctly relay good getting power second fuse for fuel pump not working one wire fuel pump in back getting weal power 97 Saturn sl2

If I understand your post correctly you have a fuse for the fuel pump that is blown or blowing. Until you resolve that issue the fuel pump probably will not get enough power to run. If it blows when you replace it the you have a wiring problem to your fuel pump. Most replacement gm fuel pumps come with a replacement plug for the fuel pump. Make sure you use it if yours did as there have been lots of problems with the wiring plug being damaged due to the high current draw of the fuel pump.

Kia sportage cranks but seldom starts??

Have you checked the fuel pump relay to see if it is sending power to the pump ? The computer grounds the relay when the computer "sees" oil pressure or engine RPM.

Where is the fuel relay switch on a 2002 saturn L series

You have a fuse / relay box under your hood. My 2002 L100 special edition, 4 cylinder, is located near the battery. You have a relay and a fuse in series. A fuel pump operations check, section 4-3 of the Haynes Saturn L-series 2000 to 2004 manual, you can hear a soft whirring sound for 1 to 2 seconds when you turn the ignition to the ON position. I can confirm mine makes this sound when I do this. Good luck with the fix.

Note, I had a crack in my fuel pump, but I took it to an ex-Saturn dealer 4 or 5 years ago because I did not want to mess with it at the time. They had the part and fixed it in 4 hours, but it also cost me $1000 to replace the fuel pump and install a new fuel filter.

It seems likely to be a wiring fault but don`t rule out faulty fuel pump!

Fuel pump fuse blows

It's a short in the fuel pump circuit wiring. Were those damaged wires where the pump fuse is located? If so, that is where to start looking.
The circuit is not that difficult to follow. The pump wire runs from the fuse to the fuel pump relay (probably in the same location as the fuse). And from the relay the pump wire goes direct to the pump in the gas tank. Somewhere in that path, your wire is shorting out-touching metal or another wire with insulation stripped from it.
Techs use a multi-meter to help look for shorts. Checking a section of wire with an ohmmeter will tell you if the section is good or has a break. Good luck. Take another look at those damaged wires.

Un plug the fuel pump pigtail from the wire harness and check to see if there is 12 volts of power at the wire harness connector, ( key On ). If there is no power at the connector then you will half to work your way back up the wire towards the relay until you locate the problem. You can also run 2 jumper wires from the battery directly to the fuel pump to enable you to see weather it is working or not. It would not be the first time someone bought a new fuel pump only to find out that it was no good. Good Luck. From Ernie @ RedDeer, Alberta, Canada.

1992 Saturn SC Fuel Pump Problem

You need to get the schematic / wiring diagram . There is a junction block in the center console where the wiring is routed to the entire car. The contact on the power wire to the pump gets burned /dirty and becomes intermittant . It needs to be cleaned .This happened to me twice.
