Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Starlogic MA9WBK 19'' TFT LCD Monitor that won't power on. The unit started having problems a few weeks ago. It became more and more difficult to turn it on after the power had been turned off until the unit wouldn't turn on anymore. I have disassembled the unit and don't notice anything unusual or obviously damaged. When the unit is plugged in, it makes a soft popping noise from the speakers. This sound doesn't go away immediately after power is removed, instead it takes a minute or two.
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Polaroid 37 in LCD TV
There is not a good solution. If you read about the Polaroid 37" LCD HDTV, you have a problem and it's the same one that many of us have. According to Polaroid's service center, the control box needs to be replaced. Polaroid does not stand by this product. The company gives you a lot of lip service about how many they sell and how few problems they have - they're lying. The TV's should be recalled and I'd suggest you join many of us to demand it. Write BBB, write the company where you bought the TV, write any consumer group you can think of - Polaroid TV's are junk. Sorry you've got one. Sounded like a good deal and Polaroid used to manufacture quality - no more.

SOURCE: tv problem
Your problem is in HOT, Horizontal output transistor is defected already ,this is high voltage transistor , if no high voltage there no picture ,but supply is there because light is flashing ,the supply voltage is trap ,when this voltage go to horizontal section your tv is automatically shut off because defected HOT,,you change this transistor ,so performance will better again ..find a tv repairman to do the works in changing the transistor and little reheating works.
This is better in order to avoid high voltage shock, this not cost much....
