I don't know of an available repair manual, but you can get a parts diagram by going here... http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action Enter your model number, then scroll down to Subcomponents, and click on Transaxle.

Why wont my 2000 audi a4 move when i switch it into gear

2000 audi a4 is built with a transaxel meaning all tires rotate at the same time with the same energy, there is 2 bolts under the transaxel which are to fiil wth transaxel oil front and back need to see if you have enough oil in these 2 plases front its easy as you take the bolt off if you have driping oil its ok other than that add oil, rear itsdifferent you must take the bolt off and insert your finguer trou and see if you can touch the oil if not you must buy a pump to pump oil into it when driping out means its full best to buy repair manual to figur out better good luk

Hi, I have a Craftsman Garden Tractor 18HP Twin, model mo. 917.255919 that has a transaxle leak. The transaxle takes about 5 quarts of SAE 30 Motor Oil. I took the transaxle apart last summer to fix a gear...

I would drain transaxel out and refill with 80w90 gear oil. I think the 30 w is way to thin. You can try some lucas trasmisson sealer and conditioner and see if that helps.
If you have to remove the transaxel I would use hi-temp silicon sealer to seal all seams and arou
nd axel shafts. I have a six year old craftsman garden tractor 18 h.p. twin mod.number 917.2722751 and I'm nearly sure it uses the same transaxel so if you do have to get into the transaxel the oil seal part number is 788088A.I can not find the suggested quanity of oil but I just fill to top thru oil fill plug on top front of transaxel.Hope this helps you. Thanks

Repair manual for a craftsman tiller model 917294480

  • 692509.pdf (application/pdf Object)
here is the repair manual per your model number this manual is for the engine, as far as the tiller portion iam not aware of any manual that can be bought over the counter. sears is kind of anal about selling manuals, however you can cross reference the sears number to the ayp model number and you can get a manual throught an ayp dealer. hope this helps

GDO repair

If unit is pre 1993 (Safety beam era), Sears will not sell you any parts. Google Liftmaster gear kit. Buy for $25-30. Not hard if you are handy. Buy the complete kit with bearings.
