Make pdf. Open pdf. When closing, it asks "do you want to save changes?" when you have changed nothing. Never used to.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can't get in my Google changed my number. Forgot password

Changing numbers have no impact on your google account.
I recommend that you use a laptop or PC to ask for a new password. Just open a browser and type: google.com Then input your email address and click on forgot password. Google will ask you some security question. Once you have that sorted out, save the new password in a safe place, and use this very same information in your new phone. Best of luck.

How to change an adobe reader program to microsoft word?

I am assuming you want the .pdf extension to automatically open with word instead.

To change which program starts when you double-click a file, follow these steps:
  1. Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking the Start button, and then click Explore.
  2. Click a folder that contains a file of the type that you want Windows to open in a program that you select.
  3. Right-click the file and, depending on the programs installed on your computer, complete one of the following steps:
    • Click Open With to choose the program that you want.
    • Point to Open With, and then click Choose Program to choose the program that you want.
  4. The Open With dialog box is displayed. Use one of the following methods to select the program that you want to use for this file type:
    • In the Programs list, click the program that you want to use.
    • Click Browse, locate and then click the program that you want to use, and then click Open.
    • Click Look for the appropriate program on the Web to browse the Internet for the program that you want to use.
  5. Click to select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box if it is not selected.
  6. Click OK.

Note From now on, Windows XP will open all files that have this file name extension in the program that you selected. To change this, you must follow these steps again and associate a different program with this file name extension.

I accidentally deleted part of a Word file (Word 2000). How can I restore it?

You can Press +Z to undo the last change, you might need to press +Z several times, just do it once at a time, you will see the changes on the screen.
If that doesn't work:If you have not saved any changes yet. you can close the file, when asked to save changes say NO.
Open the file again, and it will be the same file it was before you opened the file perviously.

CANNOT download the MANUAL, I am desperate, NEED HELP. FURTHER, the monitor just goes blak. NO NOTHING!!! The Monitor is 244E1SB/27

Hi
I'll give you a link to Philips to download the manual. On the page are links to Win 7 drivers,FAQs,and Manuals and documentation.
when you choose User's Manual it will open Adobe reader and most likely it will only show blank pages. It will also tell you that you need to download an up date. That's all ok.Before the update, when you're looking at the blank pdf,hit the refresh icon on your browser window. What you're looking for is that during the refresh the progress scale comes up and downloads 2.31 MB.Now,hit the save icon,or File in the toolbar and save as...,and save a copy of the manual to your desktop.Next, close the Window in your browser that shows the blank pdf.Exit your browser, and double click on the saved pdf on your desktop,or wherever you "save as" the file to.You'll get an update notification again. As soon as you agree to update, close the pdf.
The whole problem is that Adobe has to update a language file in acrobat and acrobat has to be closed first. Those are just all the hoops you have to go through, and then you can open the pdf and read it.
If you have questions, please post back and ask,I'll try and help. And if this helps you out, would you rate my post please?
You may want to print all of that out.

Access to PDF files on email attachments

Try checking the file association. Open the Control Panel, Click on Folder Options, Select the File Types tab, Scroll down to locate the PDF extension, Select the PDF extension, Look below in the Details for PDF extension and select Change, locate and select Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, then make sure there is a check mark in the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file", Click on OK and then close.

Photo Explosion 3 won't save images on Vista equipped computer

Doublecheck where it's trying to save the photo to. Vista gets a little weird about rights and folders, especially if UAC (user account control - Vista's idea of the "ultimate" security system)

Just for chucks, try and save the edited photo to someplace like the Users "My Documents" or desktop, where you should have full rights. If it saves there, see if you can change options to always store there.

And, I love your pipe tobacco :)....

Select "When I close my lid (or something to that effect)" and change it to "do nothing" or "ask what to do". There is nothing I hate more than a misbehaving hibernation mode!

Kurzweil to pdf

Hi,
I use OpenOffice to convert files to PDF... It's fast like saving a file...
It's a new Open Source similar to MSOffice... Once installed you can open MSOffice files in there at OpenOffice Writer. At the top you see a PDF Icon... that's the converter. Anyway explore it, it's easy to use.
