Question about Dell Studio 1537 Laptop
So i've had this laptop all in all a month. I got it for college and am by no means a computer wiz. I pulled it out of the box and it was ready to go, all I had to do was get the trend micro stuff worked out. Other than that i havent tampered with anything. Now im tryin to upload various music CD's, and softwares and my laptop takes the cd, sounds like its reading it. But nothings popping up or anything. I even checked all my settings to where it should at least notify i've put a CD in and i still get nothing. Its not even showing up under the "computer" button on my start menu, so i'm clueless.
Actually, your Operating System which is Windows XP is not properly configured and surely due to its faults its not showing & popping up those default settings for CD's.
To regain those setting you will need to re-install your XP with a fresh new copy. If you are novice in doing it then please take help of any expert or friend. It will your ALL problems.
If this solution was helpful to you then please rate 100% (or FIXYA) for this solution, otherwise don't rate at all. It was my pleasure helping you.
