i come slow because the prosesing dont work fast it work slow but go to the messaging and look at ypur messages if that dont work go to the place you got the phone from and they will help or just give u a new phone. O.k.
This happened to my palm centro and i fixed it myself. :) Maybe it will work for you. What i did was take out the battery and so the phone is completely off.. then take a tooth brush with rubbing alchohol on it and scrubbed the bottom part of it that the hotsync cord goes into.. I thought this may just mess up my phone more but i plugged it back into the power cord, turned it on and it worked just fine!! Seriously, try this out. It brought me so much relief!! And chances are you either got some **** stuck up inside there, or you got the botton part wet. Hope i helped!!
First, make sure the ringer switch is set to 'ON'. It's the little button on top of the Centro. It's turned on when it's pushed to the left. If that doesn't help then check the Sounds settings. The Palm Centro sounds settings can be accessed and changed from the 'System' screen like this: •Press the 'Home' button on the Centro. •Tap the 'System' category (top of sscreen). •Tap 'Sounds' to change the sound settings as you desire.
I hope this helps to resolve the sound problem.

The hotsync information in the Centro User Guide is very thorough and is mainly in chapters 2, 10 and 12. I hope the user guide helps with the hotsync problem. Here is a download link for the Palm Centro User Guide: http://www.palm.com/us/support/handbooks/centro/centrorow_ug.pdf

hey i had the same problem but just a tad different, my phone just wouldt turn on in general so i plugged in the phone and just started messing with the keys, i dont know if that will help but its worth a try
You have at least one application that is attempting a serial connection with the PC and is triggering hotsync instead. Many palm apps that allow live updating to your device when cradled or over blue-tooth can cause this type of error. I would take inventory of any software you added recently to your device or port settings you may have changed, especially regarding direct connect and cradle settings.
