Question about Canon imageRUNNER 1370F All-In-One Laser Printer
I'm getting a large black streak on one side of pagewhen print or faxing...was told it may be the "blue-green roller assembly"...quoted in excess of $300 for part...can you help to determine if this is the problem?
Stop the print with a little practice, half to 3/4 of the way threw machine by opening door at right time. You want the paper to be jammed/stopped after the drum (has image on paper) but before fuser (print should still rub off)
fuser is blue green 300 thingy
If print is line less where stopped then mark is from fuser, replace
If print has line before fuser then it is drum/cartridge
..probally drum..need more info to know for sure, ie you say mark when faxing I guessing you mean receiving, what happens in copy mode is same as printing I'm assuming too
