Re: razor phone

Change both the flexcable and the LCD, take it to a mobile service center or a technician in your area to have it done.

Screen has wierd figured blue light on it....can receive calls but not make them....took sims and battery out several times it's a 2-3yr old motorola razor.

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Take care.

When you flip phone open inside screen stays white

Moto RAZR phones are notorious for this. Best thing to do - Get a new phone. Inside of the hinge, there is a sensor that detects if the phone is open or shut. When you open the phone, it still thinks its closed, so the screen stays white, and if im correct the outside display should still work. Pretty much not-fixable unless you know someone who can take it apart and re-position the sensor (will void the warranty)

Best thing to do....Upgrade.

Razor phone external display

I had the same problem. I sent it back to Motorola for warranty. They fixed it and said it was a connection issue. The connection between the screen and the keys came unplugged. This is a regular problem they have with this phone. The phone is poor quality!!!!

You will have to take it to someone who knows how to change the internal programming. Or take it to your local service store to have it flashed. The message means someone has hacked the display settings.
Good Luck!

Black Outside Screen

When you are looking at the RAZR, push the button on the right hand side. This should light up your outside screen to see the time when the screen is dark. Have you tried this?
