Yes, GeSWall must not interfere with other security products including firewalls. That is because it works differently. Though it detects network traffic, it doesn't block it. Instead GeSWall isolates potentially vulnerable or malicious software from the rest of system preventing damage and information leaks.
Both of these statements are confusing because I know that if I run two security products [one with Symantec] that have active protections, then there will be a conflict between the two softwares.
Also trying uninstalling and installing the product as it will then supersede other applications.
