Could be hitting ice buildup which would be caused by a failed auto defrost. Or the fan could be wore out. Take the back cover off the inside of the freezer and you can see the fan and what it is hitting and also inspect the coils there for ice buildup.

Mitsubishi mighty max 3.0 v8 loud noise coming from the fan area

If the fan is attached to the water pump tahe hold of a blade and try back and forward towards the motor. If there is movement there it will be either a fan hub failing or a water pump bearing. Second check remove the fan belt and check for noise.( idle engine for short period of time) If it is gone confirm pump by spinning any adjuster pulleys and check for noise or rough movement

Loud fan rattling in convection mode

On the repairs I have done, it has always been a bad fan motor bearing. The only way you are going to be able to tell is to tear it down to the fan assembly and feel if the fan blade or blower is loose. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Water leaking and loud noise and rattling on final spin cycle

Turn the drum by hand and if you hear any noises it is the rear bearing. If there is no noise then remove the front bottom panel and take out the coin trap on the pump and check those hoses.

Loud rattling sound from fan in frezzer, then quit running - doesn't work now. This is a compact two-door model (4.2) cf.Possible cause/problems? How do I diagnose? Where can we get parts?

Sounds like the bearings in the fan motor. Replace the evap fan motor. You should be able to look under refrigeration parts to find your local parts house. But thats what it sounds like to me.

Rattling noise during spin cycle

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Amana Bottom Freezer

I have found tubing rattling against plastic tray on right side in back.  Also found this tray rattling against frame.  You can take back off unit and llisten for noise.   Watch out for spinning condensor fan blade.  Very sharp,  believe me!!  Try pressing on tubing.
