Question about Washing Machines
Could be a bad timer control. Does the dial rotate or do cycle lights change? If not then the timer probably needs to be replaced.

If you think the wash load is in a spin cycle of the wash cycle or rinse cycle place the machine in Spin Only cycle and see if it will complete.
