Soaking wet clothes after spin cycle

Check and choose a longer spin cycle and see if the fault changes. If so the SPIN cycle is too less or there is less action or speed in the cycle, check the motor speed, check the capacitor to the motor, the spindle friction - if so reset the spindle and drive.

check the Lid safety switch, if its shorted the spin cycle won't work, so your left with wet clothes ,, you can jumper the 2 wires together to test the switch , if that makes the cycle work, Replace that switch

The model# is LXR7244JQ1...I PURCHASED A NEW switch-lid

Pop the lid open from the front or sides of the top panel. This should expose the switch. Pretty simple task. Just remember what you do. Don't forget to disconnect power cord before servicing.

Clothes are soaking wet because it doesnt spin.

check the door switch for broken or damaged wires. get a jumper wire to go from one wire to the other wire on the switch. If the jumper wire is connected and the washer spins out, then the door switch needs to be replaced
