Can't type the @ symbol - Brother ML-100 Typewriter

There are a few different ways to type the degree

1. Use the keyboard shortcut: Press and hold the Option key, then press the letter K on your keyboard. This will insert the degree symbol.
2. Use the character viewer:

• Go to the Edit menu and select Emoji & Symbols.
• In the search field, type "degree".
• Double-click the degree symbol to insert it into your document.

1. Use the ASCII code:

• Press and hold the Option key and the Shift key.
• Press the number 8 on the numeric keypad. This will insert the degree symbol.

1. Press, then press the key of the desired symbol written in color.

To type other symbols,

1. Press , to enter the Symbol selection screen.
2. Press or to select the desired category.

Have you tried the orange button?

I mean the same way as the shift key function? Because, they are built the same with qwety keyboard. The hint is the orange printed symbols. Same as blue printed "Fn" button on PCs.

I haven't used it but it worth a try.

You need to install a special font on your computer:

There is no "tm" symbol key on a keyboard, you need to enter an ALT key to type the trademark symbol.
Hold down the "ALT" key while typing 0153 and it will enter this: ™ when you release the ALT key

If you are using Microsoft word, better you can insert symbols, goto insert then click on symbols from there you can select your choice of symbols. if you don't want to try Microsoft word, then press Function Key.
