Question about Motorola Mobility W375 Cellular Phone

2 Answers

Motorola w375 I just purchased a motolora w375, and have cingular. The phone says net10 on the back, and I cant access the browser. Att says its not a att/cingular phone, so even though i have the media access on my cingular account, i don't on this phone. Is there any way to download ringtones w/o this access???

I did finally learn to program the phone for cingular, and i can get the browser to work, the phone just won't download the ringtones i purchase. ATT says there is nothing i can do, but they also said that about programming, and i did that, so i can't really believe them. I have a usb cable that fits the phone, but no program to access the phone from the computer. Still need some suggestions.

You can obtain a usb cable for this phone and attempt transfer through this method....i didnt see any mention of a memory card slot in the manual but if you have that feature on your phone you should take advantage of it by purchasing a memory chip.

Contact net10 and see if they will give it to you. If they won't, contact Motorola or do a google search for subsidy unlock codes for your model phone.

I have a motorola w375 phone that is locked to net10 and I have been told that you can't unlock these phones, but in my tools section there is a sim application to unlock the phone, I am looking for a way...

Net10 phones only work with Net10 service. If you need to get a new SIM, you needn't unlock your phone. Just call customer service for the new SIM.... if the old one is defective.

Broken phone, SIM OK

The chances are that the W375 is locked to Net10. The other Motorola phone you mentioned will work with the old SIM if the phone was previously used on Net10, or has been unlocked.

Most phones, upon issue, are locked to the network that provided the phone. If the other working phone is locked to a different network, speak to the Network it was previously locked to, and ask for an unlock code.

Try it anyway, you can't damage anything by doing so.
