This error can't be reset, it is a repair job. The code mostly means that the carbon brushes are end of life. You can replace them yourselves with new spare parts. Mar 22, 2018
Please don't type all in capitals. It is hard to read and considered 'SHOUTING'.
Some sort of motor fault. This is why I'll never buy this type of washer/dryer, too complex, expensive parts, ridden with trouble. I'll stick with the conventional types. They last for years and years trouble free.
If you want it to work properly again you will need to call a service tech.
If you have Bosch, Baumatic, or any other machine built by Bosch, then F43 is a motor issue:
Error F43 : Motor fault: do an emergency drain through the drain access in the front bottom side (see manual). Open door and check ig
the drum rotates free when spin by hand. Disconnect power before performing maintenance.
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Bosch 'F43' stands for 'motor fault'.
Motors- and belts, which are sensible to change at the same time- are easy to be changed by a competent person:-
REMOVE POWER FROM THE MACHINE AND REMOVE THE BACK.
The motor support bolts, normally 2, should be loosened and the belt removed then remove the bolts completely
With the motor it is false economy to just have the brushes changed. Experience of others is that the brushes may only last months unless, that is, the motor is totally refurbished. Refurbishing includes skimming the commutator on which the brushes run. Without skimming the brushes do not sit firmly on the commutator but straddle it- the centre is often more worn than the outer part.
Unfortunately motors are not cheap- the motor for our 18+ yearold Bosch cost GBP250 but it will probably outlive us!
Often putting the new belt on is a bit of a struggle, even with the motor 'loose', because it is new and smaller!
Once on it should be tensioned by pulling the motor against the belt firmly- but not over tight- and the motor support bolts tightened.
ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD ANY FORM OF LEVERAGE BE USED TO TENSION THE BELT. THAT COULD LEAD TO DAMAGE TO THE BELT, MOTOR AND BEARINGS- EXPENSIVE!
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C
