Do you get a message? Try a different card or plug into pc to see if there is anything on the card. After the card, it becomes very complicated.

This appears to be loose connector to the motherboatd from the screen.
Try gentle squeezing of the casing near the bottom of the body
This may do the trick- otheriwise it is a workshop job and frankly not worth the cost - the money would be better spent on a more uptodate camera.

check the memory disc it might be full in which case it is best to save the pics onto your computer and then wipe the disc for room to take more pics.

I am afraid your CCD is faulty.
No diy possible unless you can find a working CCD-chip.

SOURCE: my flash does not work on my fuji finepix f50fd

Are you sure you don't have the flash suppressed? Somewhere on the menu it should have a flash setting. It can get set to suppress so that it does not flash even in flash conditions.

SOURCE: Fuji Finepix S9600 - Photography mode doesn't work

Sounds like the CCD (main image sensor) is dead. It should be covered under warranty. It doesn't sound like there is anything you've done, or can do to rectify it. Get it in to a Fuji service center with your warranty/receipts.

Testimonial: "Thanks, Steve. I took it to an authorized service center and the CCD sensor was indeed dead. Warranty covered! Thanks again!"

Why Fuji Finepix XP20 won't take photos?

Check the settings of the camera. Put the recording mode for stills (photos) to auto, so the setting can't stop the camera from taking a picture. If you are in one of the manual modes, and the system calculates it won't be possible to make a picture (to dark, to light, or out of focus and so on) it won't react when you press the shutter release button.
Please use the manual, so you will be able to solve this every time it happens to you. The manual is still online.

My fuji fine pix z1's flash doesnt work. i dont even remember it worked ever. the pics are blurred most of the time

1) Check you're settings are all on "Auto".
2) The button you press to take the photo is a 2 stage button. Press half way, if you're gentle you should feel a slight resistance. Pause at this stage, just for a moment to allow your camera to focus properly. Then proceed with the action until photo is taken.
3) It takes a little practice to get used to it, but with any luck you photo's should be crisp.

4) If this doesn't work and you bought it less than a year ago, take it back to the shop and comlain.

S7000 finepix switches itself off when external power is plugged in

I am using Fuji Finepics 7000 for the last 4 years & took approx. 35,000 photos in Australia. Try not to plug in external power when camera is using internal batteries. Switch it off, plug in the external power cable & then switch it on. BYE [email protected]

Fuji Finepix s1000fd i/o error when loading photos to PC

After surfing for solutions, I tried uninstalling all the Fuji software and using Windows to pull the pictures off the camera...It worked! Card and USB were working just fine even though they came back with errors using the Fuji software.

Fuji finepix A120

are you using rechargable batterys or weak batterys. my fuji won't work unless I use a e^2 titanium batterys. they have lots of jam (3500's?). anyways when the picture or ccd goes to charge there isn't enough juice to fire and the cammera dies. or maybe there is junk on the connections and won't let enough volts through. rechargeables are bad becouse they don't have the volt output needed - 1.2v charged I beleive. the other batterys are expensive but they've been in my cammera for three months, or about 300 pictures.
hope that helps :)

XD card Problem

IF the images are lost (can't see them thru the camera), format the memory card (Photo mode button - Set - Format). These cards need to be reformatted frequently. I do it once a month, but I'd recommend it once every 500 pictures.
