HELp EMACHINE My emachine will not boot up normally it keeps returning to the welcome Logo screen. i 've tried safe boot,and everthing on the F8 list i do not know what else to do? :(

How do i turn off safe mode?

When booting up press F8 after the E-machine logo goes away. Choose Normal boot up from the list.

I have a emachine desktop and I can't get it to boot up it just keeps on trying to boot up over and over.

Please try the following

1) Switch on PC
2) Continuously press the F8 key until you have a menu presented
3) Choose safe mode from the options
4) Once safe mode has loaded Click on Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System restore

Inn system restore choose a date (in bold) to before the problem occured, then click next and follow the instructionss through.

The PC will ask to restart click on Yes and then hopefully the PC will load into normal windows

I think you're saying it will boot to safe mode "F8 key while booting". You can then remove Norton Antivirus program from safe mode and reboot.

You can try to boot up in safe mode hitting F8 while computer is booting up after it is in safe mode go to control panel and then go to add and remove progams find the last update you install and remove it. If that is a no go you will have to restore to orginal with disc that came with emachine

go to the safe mode by pressing f8 at startup.
in safe mode set the resolution to its default and restart. this will now run in normal mode.

Wont load passed windows xp screen

Try holding down the "F-8" key when the emachines logo appears, see if you get a prompt for "safe mode". If you can get the system up and running in safe mode, shut it back down from the start menu. That should rewrite the boot sector and may clear the problem.

Have you made any hardware/software changes lately? If answer is no, reboot the pc and hit F8 a couple times. This will give you a list of options. Use your arrows and highlight last known good configuration and hit enter. See if your pc boots ok. If you don't have that option or it doesn't boot ok, Repeat the process to get the list. Use the arrow keys to higlight Safe Mode and hit enter. Your pc should boot to safe mode. Click on Start>progams>accessories>system tools>system restore. Choose a safe date about 3 days ago and do a restore. Wait until it's done completely! and see if it's working ok. If this fixed your problem please rate as fixed. I understand that your pc doesn't  load the operating system.

I request you to please follow the trouble shooting steps I am providing you I am sure your issue must be resolved.

I request you to please turn off your pc and as soon as you turn it on, insert the cd consisting of your operating system into the tray and close it. Make sure that your cd rom is the first booting device.
Then your computer prompts you PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CD ROM then press ENTER. Now you stay back and relax system will stop after some time and click ENTER when prompted. Next click F8 to agree the conditions. Later it states that there is an operating system already installed would you like to repair it? If you like to repair the operating system press R then press R and follow the commands. In this way you could reload your operating system with out loosing any of  your settings or data.
