When watching a movie using my wii console. everytime i log on the internet w/ my computer. I loose wi-fi connection to the wii. and get an error code 52230

Error Code 52230 means that your router or Internet Service Provider is having difficulty assigning a DNS or IP address to the Wii. What this usually means when you had a connection and it drops is that you aren't getting a clean signal connection between your router and your console. First step, unplug your modem and your router wait 30 seconds and plug them back in. If that doesn't work:

Various factors affect connecting a Wii to the internet with a WiFi connection as well, including signal strength, distance from the wireless router to the console and obstacles such as walls and ceilings that interfere with the signal. If you're using a G router and you have your Wii too far away or, has obstacles (walls and ceilings) in the way, it will not connect. You should use an N-Router if there is a significant distance between the console and the router or if there are obstacles.
In your case it could be the wireless adapter on your computer is interfering with the Wii. Change your router's channel setting to 1 or 11. By default, most routers broadcast on channel 6, which overlaps with other channels and may be weaker.

What does error code 52030 mean on the Internet settings of my nintendo wii console and how do I fix it

It seems that the security settings entered into the Wii console are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow, or your router is not able to assign the Wii an IP address.

To fix this issue, make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Wii exactly as they appear in your router's settings; manually assign an IP address to the Wii.

Error code 52030

Unable to connect to your wireless network
Likely cause: It appears that the security settings entered into the Wii console are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow, or your router is not able to assign the Wii an IP address.
How to fix: Make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Wii exactly as they appear in your router's settings; manually assign an IP address to the Wii.

It will not connect to the internet at all now it tells me that there is no access point in range and to check my SSid setting what is that

so that means your game console is using wireless connection. it's not detecting the wireless equipment(usually a wireless router) that it's connecting to. SSID is the name of the wireless network of the wireless router or access point. SSID is like an identification, so that your game console or wireless computer if they are connecting to the right equipment and not to your neighbor..

if you have other computers that are wireless and those are working right, it means the problem is on the game console.. try to power cycle the devices, turn off the modem, router or access point, computers and game console.. wait 1 minute, then turn on the modem first, router or access point next, then computers and game console..
