Error Code 52230 means
that your router or Internet Service
Provider is having difficulty assigning a DNS or IP address to the Wii. What this usually means when you had a connection
and it drops is that you aren't getting a clean signal connection between your
router and your console. First step,
unplug your modem and your router wait 30 seconds and plug them back in. If that doesn't work:
Various factors affect connecting a Wii to the internet with a
WiFi connection as well, including signal strength, distance from the
wireless router to the console and obstacles such as walls and ceilings that
interfere with the signal. If you're using a G router and you have your
Wii too far away or, has obstacles (walls and ceilings) in the way, it will not connect.
You should use an N-Router if there is a significant distance between the
console and the router or if there are obstacles.
In your case it could be the wireless adapter on your computer is interfering with the Wii. Change your router's
channel setting to 1 or 11. By default, most routers broadcast on channel 6,
which overlaps with other channels and may be weaker.
