You could probably have a bad capicator. Try spinning the fsn blade with your hand .if it work then you have a bad capicator. BE VERY CAREFUL BECAUSE THE BLADE JUST A LITTLE PUSH THEN IT WILL RUN NORMAL SPEED
if its spining backwards the blade is up side down motors dont run backwards they run clock wise your blade should run clockwise to its possible they put your blade on backwards you will hgave to flip it put it back on
An abrupt cycle of power can cause a motor to run backwards. If you turn the power off again and wait 10 seconds or so (enough for blade to stop spinning) it should run the right way. Put the capacitor back the other way and try again.
To change the head on the trimmer you will need to turn the trimmer upside down as if you were going to take the head off to restring it, spin the head and look for a slot in the side of the head when you see the slot, keep spinning until you see it line up with a hole in the metal piece the head attaches to. Stick a nail in the slot and hole and turn the head off the trimmer, if I remember correctly the head is backward thread.
Follow the steps backward for putting the brush blade head on the trimmer.
this confuses me. What do you mean it starts backwards? How do you know it is running backwards? how long have you had this tool? I am confused because it is a table saw. The motor should drive the blade in the direction the teeth are facing. Meaning the poity part of the blade is where the wood is to star its cut. If this is not the case, you either have the blade in backwards, or your standing on the wrong side of the saw. good luck.
Sound like its the capicator you didn,t change! Match this up off the side plate of the motor. The capicator is a booster on start for the fan or we call it a pace maker for the fan motor!
If the motor is 3 phase (which it may be if it is 2 HP) , it will run backwards if 2 of the wires are traded position. You may have changed the wires in the plug if you replaced a plug.
