Thank-You so much Ekse, I have had this watch in for repair two times at a cost of $180.00. I asked for operating instructions, and was told they do not exist. I was ready to send it back for repair, as the watch stopped, and than started again, so I will set correct time, and hope for the best. Thanks again.

Hi

How do you set the - 108665d.jpg

See the Knob on the side, as it is on the picture, it will rotate but not adjust the time, pull it out a little, carefully, don't brake it or pull it out. Don't pull it out. just pull it out a little so it goes to the right position for adjusting the time, now you can rotate the knob to either direction and the arms will rotate to that direction, the date should also change as you rotate it forward or backward, note that you may need to rotate it "24hours" (two circles) untill the day changes to the next. Or the watch may have a separate setting for adjusting only the date, in that case see if you can pull the knob out a little more, if it doesn't move more then it doesn't and it is adjusted by rotating the clock forward or backward as one day is 24hours you will need to rotate it forward or backward 24hours to change the date number to the next or the last.

This does not do any harm to the watch, aslong as you do it with care, if you abuse the watch and the knob it may damage it, but normal rotation of the hands and knob does no harm.

do you have any questions?

Thanks,
Ekse

The watch stoping could be low battery. it generally lasts around 40 months (2-3 years)

or the knob on the side, when its on the adjustment position will also stop the watch, when your done adjusting push the knob back in. Note that the pulling and pushing is very small in the sense of movement, few(1-4) millimeters (1 mm = 0.039370 " of a inch)

SOURCE: luminox 3001 watch not keeping time

Because of the way they work, it's quite hard for quartz movements to run consistently slow - so if you find one getting behind, it's usually a sign that it's stopping intermittently. It would do no harm to check that the crown is properly pushed in after you've reset it, but my guess is that the watch will benefit from a new battery. A.

I have not been able to find any instructions on their web site, so the only thing I can suggest is that you go to their web site and click on "find a retailer" and speak to them and ask them how to do it.

Setting time

Pull out crown and turn counterclockwise..if hands wont move then you need to take to a reputabble jeweler to have repaired, you have either a set lever problem or there is rust in stem tube and wont allow it to turn...good luck :)

Sounds like there could be a bit of foreign material floating about inside, or the new battery was not up to scratch. Take it back for checking.
