Schematic I can't seem to find a schematic for a gm-x552 poineer car amplifier.do you know where I can find one

Start with PS first then amp stages for blowouts.

Part of your PowerSupply is Frito.
Probably the +/- 15 volt rails, could be other.
Check inside power voltages, probably some regulators are gone.
Preferably get a tech unless you have the know-how and test equipment...

REMOVE THE RCA INPUTS AND DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS, THEN POWER THE AMPLIFIER UP WITH THS NO INPUT, NO SPEAKER LOAD CONDITION. IF IT STILL GOES INTO PROTECTION AND YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE POSITIVE AND ESPECIALLY THE GROUND CONNECTIONS, ALONG WITH THE REMOTE CONNECTIONS ARE 100%, THEN THE AMPLIFIER WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

The cable should not cause the problem unless it is shorting out somewhere on the remote or positive cable. I would use a larger gauge wire first as this is the cheaper way to go, and if the same problem occurs you are having a short in the sub or box causing the protection mode. You will have to back trace to find possible cross connections.

Hey Alexis! Not very much information can be found online for your specific model, however, this website gives general setup instructions for car stereo amps. Your model doesn't seem to have anything out of the ordinary so hopefully this guide helps you out some!

What sort of problem are you having with it?

Generally, if the amplifier smokes, the power supply FETs have failed.

Many times, the output transistors fail and that causes the power supply FETs to fail.

Audiobahn won't release schematics. The amplifiers are relatively simple and a schematic isn't generally required.
