Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

My airco Haier AU182AFERA is new.Now it stopped blowing and the green light started flashing. We put out the main supply and put the airco on again.Next the airco would function for about seven minutes , stopped again and the green light would flash 21 times, stops a little while , flashes again and so on. We cannot get it to work again with the remote. What does it mean when the green light flashes and what can I do about it.

As I'm Dutch and without any technical expertise , it was a bit of a puzzle for me.
The advice to have someone look at the airco was good thouhg.
I did and it appeared there was a part broken.Something I could noy have fixed myself anyway.
Thank you Samrat for your trouble.

Hi
The outside unit is your air conditioning condensing unit, the coolant flows through the refrigeration lines from the outside to the cooling coil inside your air handling unit, the blower in the air handler blows through the cooling coil out into the living area, the air handler has to pull air in from the return air grills, the grills shouldn't be blocked/obstructed, the filter needs to be clean, If the air flow is not enough the cooling coil will freeze and the blower can't blow air through it.

OR
check the a/c with guages again to see if it stil had freon. If it did have a full charge then your issue is electrical or another bad compressor. If it did NOT have freon as indicated by very low or no readings on the guages then you definitely have a leak and a fast one at that. If u cannot see the leak outside the car then it has to be inside the car which leaves only one thing, the evaporator coil. Have him chek the a/c drain tube with a black light for any dye leaking out.
Chek the wirin nd the fuse too.

regards

Why is my airco not cooling?

I believe that error code refers to a defective Indoor Coil Temperature Sensor (Thermistor); probably an "open" or "shorted" condition.

My brand new flat screen haier tv 39'' is flashing white then red green then blue and black screens how do i fix

Try to disconnect the set and a box if being used from power for a while and then power both back as either could cause this problem.

I have a Haier split airconditioner HSU-22HD03, it runs for 5 minutes and then switches off and the power and timer light start flashing.

It shows your indoor PCB faulty. (As you didn't mention any error code). Next time count the green light flashing and write.Thanks.

See if you plugged in the 4 pin power connector on the motherboard besides the main power connection on the power supply (usually black colored and its a plastic 4 pin connector)

Try another power supply if all else fails. If new power supply does not work with this unit then its a motherboard which is blown and motherboard needs replacing.

Hope this helps

Flashing Green Light on Power BESTEC Power Supply

This is an easy fix so here you go nice and simple:

Problem: Your motherboard circuit has been cut.

Causes: Power disconnected during operation. Power outage or short in the surge protector.

Symptoms: Flashing green light on both motherboard and power supply. System will not power on.

Solution:

Step 1: Ensure that both the power supply and the motherboard lights are flashing green, not solid or off.
Step 2: While the power is on, disconnect the power supply from the motherboard. This connection is the largest of the connections and should be listed as the 'P1' or 'Primary' power connection.

Step 3: Wait until the green light on the motherboard stops flashing and check to ensure that the green light on the power supply is now solid. If it is not solid, disconnect the power to the power supply and wait until the light turns off completely. Then reconnect, it should be solid now.

Step 4: While the power is on, reconnect the P1 connection to the motherboard and you should now see that the light on the motherboard is solid.

Step 5: Power on your PC. The problem should not persist.

Warnings: If the power supply light remains flashing after you have restored power to it while it is disconnected from the motherboard, it may be a system failure in the power supply itself requiring replacement. Always be careful when working with an active or live power machine.

I hope this helped! Good luck!

No Picture - Lamp Indicator Blinking

This may be the main power supply, or the lamp supply. This is providing that the new lamp is okay.

The service tech will swap out the modules to service the set.

Pover up trouble

sounds like something is drawing down on your 12 volt supply drives or on board regulators. Try it without the drives connectged, and see if you can get the system to boot up(you'll just get a notice that your drives are unavailable, but you'll already know that, right?
