Question about Toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 Notebook

1 Answer

Will Not Turn On, Will Not Boot, Charges

Okay, I got this laptop probably a year and a half ago from a store that doesn't exist anymore.
One day, it stopped working.
I figured it over heated, because when I plugged it into the charger, no lights came on, and when I pressed power, I couldn't hear anything going on inside, and no hard drive booting.
It's been sitting under my bed for about 5 months, because I figured maybe someday I would fix it
Today, out of the blue I decided to hook it up to the charger.
I couldn't believe it, but the battery light came on.
This did NOT happen before.
Now I feel like there's a little hope.
It will not turn on and I still don't hear any noise inside.
Is there anyway I could TRY fixing it?

My psp worked for two years and all of a sudden it just doesn't want to turn on. I tried to to turn it on but the green light flashes for a nano second and nothing happens I need help any suggestions??

like all rechargeable ion batteries in electronic devices, they can be worn out and need to be replaced. the ion cells die within the battery overtime and cant take charge anymore so the battery starts to become useless. but since PSP is out dated because PSP3 came out not too long ago, you will have a harder time finding a replacement for the battery. but will certainly have them because they hold more products than any store available. thats where i do shopping alot. and they are very cheap priced. but then you will probably need someone to replace the battery for you.

My acer aspire 3000 star up only half way and torn off in seconds ?

turn on your laptops, press F2, and wait for a while. if your laptop doesn't shut down, it means you just have a software problem, try to check the boot order. make sure you put your hard drive as your first boot order and save. if it still shut down even after inside the bios setup, it means your laptops have a hardware malfunction. probably overheat, exhaust covered by dust, the cooling fan is not working, or other hardware malfunction.

Have you tried to use the control, attached to the console with the USB cable?
If that works, it might be that the internal battery is not holding charges anymore.

It may be coincidence but I presume you get the Bios menu as the laptop is loading asking you for either F2 or F12 if you wish to change your boot option. If not, plug your laptop into an external screen to check for a VGA processor errors.
I suspect the lamp driver ballast unit may have failed.
Feel free to get back to me with anymore data.

Won't get up and go anymore...

The grease inside your wheel bearings is what you might want to look at first. You probably need to change your wheel bearings or wash the existing wheel bearings with degreaser then regrease them.Check your chain links too they might need a squirt from your WD40 can,Make sure the links move freely.

Black screen wont boot, will if battery removed.

The battery is probably toast. Take it with you to the store to test a new battery before purchasing one.
