My computer has suddenly stopped allowing me to access the audio controls. The device manager has the yellow error icon next to "Multimedia audio controller".

This Problem has been added to the Share Your Expertise Page under "My Work Queue".

HOW COULD WE DOWNLOAD A SOUND CARD 'COZ WE LOST THE C.D. FOR SOUND CARD?

Hello,
You will need to reinstall your audio driver. However, if your audio is defected, then reinstalling will not fix the problem. But try reinstalling the drivers first.
