remove the drain hose and make sure its not plugged with food debris then hit the drain/cancel button and put the drain hose end in a bucket and see how much water comes out of the end of the hose if any,if the 2 green lights are flashing this too is a clue to this problem, also make sure you can hear the drain pump running when you start it as explained in the above statement
have you removed the drain hose at the air- gap on the sink or where it drains into the sink and put the hose in a pail and then set the unit to drain and watch how much and how fast the water comes out of the drain hose, either its a plugged drain hose or a slug of debris in the drain circuit at the disposal or sink drain
Hi Please note that dishwashers don’t drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn’t overheat. Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you’ll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.
Please post back for any further assistance. Daniel
Remove the food and the ice maker from the freezer ( if equiped ) . Remove the rear freezer panel . Using a hair dryer , start in the middle , below the coils , defrosting , until you see the drain hole . Use hot water to help defrost the hole . Once water starts going thru the hole , use a small hose inserted into the hole , and blow thru , to remove any unseen debris in the drain line .
Can you get the water to drain at all in any cycle? If you can, then its possibly the control module .
If you can't get it to drain in other cycles or when you cancel the cycle, then its a possible clog in the drain outlet hose, drain solenoid, or screens.
