Did you tilt the mower on its side when changing the oil? Be sure the oil is at proper level. Be sure the air filter is not saturated with oil or fuel. If it is replace it. Start and run mower outside. The smoke should clear up after a few minutes of run time

Oil light comes on even after oil change. what could be the problem

Oil pressure always goes down as the engine heats up.

High mileage? If yes, worn oil pump, excessive clearance in bearings and rings. Probably close to locking the engine up due to friction.

Low mileage? Possibly worn oil pump or leak in head gasket.

Engine only runs with choke on. Blue smoke comes out and engine runs rough or not at all

sounds like you have a bad Ring on the Piston or a blown head possibly. Blue smoke means Oil is getting into the combustion chamber. Full choke means you have to give this 'broken' engine a lot of gas to compensate for it's problem.
Do you change the oil at least once a year? Filthy oil or a lack of oil will kill an engine

White smoke coming out of tail pipe.

WHITE smoke? Or BLUE smoke? White smoke is usually caused by burning antifreeze (possible blown head gasket). Engine oil burning causes a bluish colored smoke.

Changing the oil two months ago means absolutely nothing to me. I have customers that travel 6000 miles or more in a month. Oil consumption is measured in volume over miles, not volume over months. It is normal for most 4 cylinder engines to use a little less than 1/2 quart in 1000 miles (even more than that for 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder engines).

I change oil in my nissan titan v8 and after the engine started smokeing what do we do to stop the smoke.

if the smoke is coming from the engine bay, check for spilt oil or an oil leak, especially on the exhaust. clean/fix this and the smoke should stop.

if it is coming from the exhaust, check you have used the correct grade of oil (too thin oil may bypass oil seals slightly) and you have not overfilled the engine and this can cause internal pressure, causing oil to bypass the seals, or even blow oil seals completely. overfilling will also damage the catalytic converter.

By changing gears I've got smoke coming from my exchaust: what can I do to prevent it. What Oil is best for my TDI. Can I use fuel injector oil with the diesel.

Identifing the smoke color tells you where it is coming from. Black smoke comes from fuel, so it is running rich or not fully igniting the mixture. White smoke comes from oil and often happens under very heavy engine load. On acceleration this could be the piston rings allowing blow-by, on deceleration this could be the valve seals leaking. Blueish smoke is often coolant, indicating a head gasket leak.

You didn't state iof this happens during a moving gear change, or if it has happened since you physically changed some of the gears in the car. On a TDi, I would follow the factory recommendations for all engine lubricants and additives.

This week i got an oil change and tune-up done by seperate shops, well now my car is leaking oil really bad to the point where theres visible smoke coming out when im stopped, it even is coming thru my...

I would check to see if the oil cap is on the motor. Also if the shop spilled oil close to the exhaust manifold it would cause it to smoke. I would take it back and have them perform another oil change for free epically if the smoke is that bad. Hope that helps!
