    detector emits no warning

It works fine, but there is no sound.
It's OKif you drive at night, but during daytime you should watch it carefully.
The outlet AUX AUDIO is useless, becase it is of strange size. No need to say they didn't supply you with cord. Why install that?

I purchased one at Radio Shack for my Radar Detector.

If you take it to the store they should be able to show you one.

Best of Luck.

Makes a bad noise

Although unspecific with the noise, more than likely the speaker has gone bad and needs replaced. To determine if it is the speaker, plug an external speaker in using a 2.5 mm jack.

The following message was received from them on 7/29/10:

PNI discontinued its consumer products line almost 5 years ago. At this time we no longer have parts, staff, or facilities available to support repairs or replacements. We're very sorry that we cannot be of more assistance to you.

Not Working

Does the switch still work? On mine the silver power button fell inside. It is part of a flimsy plastic tree that holds all the buttons. The manufacturer is out of the radar detector business and can not provide any parts either.

Bel RX65 Radar Detector

Call Beltronics tell them you have an RX65 out of warranty. They charge about $65. When I did mine I sent them only the detector and they also set me a new cord & suction cups.
