How many computer experience this problem? You can try playing around with the channel on the router, use 1, 6 or 11 and move the antenna.

I installed the linksys monitor and that seems to help. I still loose the signal but seem to get it back sooner. I think the router is just weak and will upgrade to a linksys router in the future

Hello. I have a TEW-432BRP D1.3R and I usually get close to 10 minutes of connection then it drops the connection and I can't browse the internet. I have to turn the power off and wait 15-20 seconds...

First, check to see if the connection to the TEW-432BRP is not what is dropping signal. If the ethernet line is functioning and you don't lose connection, re-attach the router and try performing a factory default reset on the device. Otherwise, you may want to contact Trendnet support for assistance in determining if the router is faulty. From a hardware standpoint, there are several things on the mainboard of the router that could cause your symptom.

I lost my trendnet router tew 231brp password

You can reset the router by pressing the reset button with a paperclip. The button should be by the antenna. You have to press it an hold it for about 15-20 seconds to reload the router to the factory defaults. Then you can login with the default password and set up the wireless again.

the factory default password for the router login should be admin both for username and for password.

You must remove all power from router, and press the reset button, this will return the unit to factory spec's then you can login, as default, and re-setup the router.

Router failed

I assume that all lights are on as normal on the router.

Check the System light.

This indicator blinks green means the Internet Broadband Router is
working successful. Otherwise, this indicator always on or off means the function of the Internet Broadband Router is in a fail state.

If the System light is either always on or off go to step 3 below, otherwise start at step 1.

1. power down router and wait 30 seconds and power up.

Try connecting via then if NO do step 2.

2. disable any firewall programs on the PC

Try connecting via then if NO do step 3.

3. do a factory reset of the router. on the rear panel of the router there should be a small hole with a small button maarked RESET. if you press this in for 10 seconds it should RESET router to FACTORY settings.

Try connecting via and if NO then the router firmware is possibly corrupt or there is some other hardware fault.
