You can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

MotoKrazr in pool for 20 min-screens still blank

hey there....real sorry for your loss....water damages the phone in more ways than we can think of .....even if your screen works automatically after a few weeks , still you will surely (no doubts about this) get weird problems in your phone..so i will suggest you to not waste any money on your phone or if you really want it to be the way it was before - then go to authorised motorola service care... you would be charged heavily there but you can rely on them......

Water

Sometimes when electronics are dropped in water, you can still use the. Circut boards have a silicon coat over the circut boards for instances like this. Depending on how long it was in the water, you may be able to still use it. Let the phone dry out for about 24 hrs (take out battery and back cover) then try to replace the battery and start it back up. If it doesnt turn on the circuts were affected and it broken.

LG Dare dropped in Pool

Just put it in a bag of rice for couple of weeks. The rice pulls all the water or wetness out of the phone. How do I know, Well I found a brand New Lg Dare phone in a puddle, put it in rice for 2 1/2 months. I took it out of the bag, put it together, turn it on. To my amazement it worked. Ran to store, bought a charger, and it has worked every day since.

Everything works but the touch screen.

caring for the touch screen includes touching the screen with clean and DRY hands., if your phone fell in the water, it will likely damage the touch screen.. contact your nearest LG repair center.. i hope your phone will soon be fine..

My w580i walkman was droped in the pool

Best thing to do right away is remove the battery and put it in a bowl of dry rice if you have any to start absorbing the water out. Not sure about the left front button coming out. Good luck.
