My icemaker, model #S 106 626636 for a Kenmore top mount refrigerator isnt working. I tried using a jumper wire on L&V as described onlone but nothing happens. i also tried jumping T-H and again...

something I also do is just give the unit power and see, I don't know if ya got polarities right or not but assuming you did and nothing happened, my experience tells me the unit is in fact shot or it would've hummed, spun, smoked whatever. Sorry Bud

I'm not sure I have the same Kenmore refrigerator. My Model number is slightly different. The refrigerator is not cooling. The fan is running and it's clicking when the compressor should come on...

:
Hi!
A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
It does a lot of clicking (trying to start over and over again)
If thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
I use part no ERP410 POWER START RELAY, CAPACITOR AND OVERLOAD all in one. (110 v)

Kenmore model 158.17810 sewing machine noise

that is a fifty fifty chance you have to take. It may be something minor rubbing or you could have a slightly bent shaft underneath making noise

Hum but wont start

The slight hum you are hearing is the start windings in the motor. This is a common problem in the kenmore dryers and there is nothing you could have done to keep it from happening. the part number on the motor is 279827 and price from sears is $105.99.

Kenmore dishwasher 58715142400 fills but doesn't wash

Motor has gone out..just like mine...Make sure u have voltage going to the motor, (disconnect the plug from the motor) and use an electric meter to make sure you have voltage going to the motor. If so the motor has either gone out or has been blocked by something! If no noise except clicking then motor has gone out. Looking at about $150 for motor.
