Re: printer will not print

Try unplugging it for a couple seconds. Plug it back in and if it does the same thing, delete it from the printers (control panel, printers and faxes, right click on the printer and hit delete). Then you will have to reinstall the printer. If you don't have the cd, here is the link to download and install the driver:

Just select your operating system and then you can download and install. Good luck!

Blinking green light

Try disconnecting the computer from the printer and shutting it down by removing the power cord and then also shut down the computer for a minute or so and then reboot it and check in "Printers" and see if it has anything waiting to be printed and if so clear out the queue. Flashing green light indicates that the printer is receiving data from the computer and/or printing so you shut it all down and cold reboot to clear out the computer confusion in both the computer and the printer.

Hpdeskjet problem

A light blinking under the cancel button usually indicates a problem with the color cartridge.
Go to this page for instructions on resolving that issue - about halfway down the page is a picture of your printer control panel with both the left and right light blinking. The section explains that it's to help if "One or both print cartridge status lights are on and blinking."

Keeps blinking. I've shut it off, and cancelled all print jobs - even unplugged it. Keeps blinking. Says there is an operator error

Try this:

1. Turn off printer (use button, don't unplug)
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.

If this not help may the print head is defective.

I have a canon iP90 printer and a code is coming up 5C00?

Try this to reset the error.

1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button three times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.) During initialization, the LED blinks in green.

4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the 4 times. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.)

5) Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the selected function is performed. (When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.)

6) Power off then back on and test.

If it still comes up with this error there might be some paper down near the print heads. If there is no paper there, you might have an actual hardware issue.

Try to cancel your document in the printers menu even if you restart the pc or the printers memory stores the previous command.

1.The idea is that printers has its own memory unless you cancel the document that you print.

e-mail me at if the problem persist
