Are you referring to the light globe? You can go to any home decor or home depot/lowes and find replacement covers, and the make sure the screws the hold it in are not stripped and need to be replaced as well

How do I remove the glass globe on a 70" Casa Vieja Coastline Modern Contemporary fan?

To remove the glass globe on a 70" Casa Vieja Coastline Modern Contemporary fan, you need to follow these steps:

Turn off the fan and wait for the blades to stop moving.
Locate the screws that hold the glass globe in place. These screws are usually located at the base of the globe.
Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws. You may need to turn them counterclockwise to loosen them.
Once the screws are loose, gently pull down on the globe to remove it from the fan.
If you have any trouble removing the globe, please refer to your user manual or contact Casa Vieja customer support for assistance.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE CASA VIEJA AEROSTAT FAN REPLACEMENT BLADES? 52IN

I searched for you out of courtesy. FIXYA unpaid volunteers do not work for a company selling parts or repairs.

I used http://www.google.com and entered the words Casa Vieja fan replacement blades

For anyone reading this question, Googling is a skill that you want to practice, as it can save you time and money.

I took the fan down to relocate, but now I can't remember in which order to install which parts to ceiling.

At the bottom you will FIND a URL that shows various "TYPICAL" installations.

Please keep in mind that this job usually requires a permit... simply because an IMPROPERLY SUPPORTED ceiling fan is a VERY DANGEROUS hazard to you & your family.... (guests, kittens... puppies (pet pythons, in-laws, etc.)).

Re-posting with the make and mode can get you a more precise answer.. but the finish cover is usually mounted on the support shaft first... Then... (on older CASA BLANCA the canopy IS the support socket for the ball (a final closure is done with a small ***** (small threaded device: SOUNDS LIKE "SKI+RUE") fitted panel)).

the ball is then (pin) attached to the support shaft and you will find it fits into a pivot bracket that would allow mounting on sloped surfaces as well as regular flat ceilings.

Wire connections can then be accomplished (best done with all power off (AT THE BREAKER))... and then the canopy can be finally secured.

Hope this helps (be safe, work safe!).

Please do look at the illustrations

The lights flicker on and off when powering on

Your Minka Aire is also available on AMAZON...

The trouble you are describing involves YOUR control module INSIDE your fan body... I had a SIMILAR TROUBLE on a CASA BLANCA... had to replace the CONTROL MODULE myself... but for the 13 foot ceiling... and needing to ALSO upgrade the WALL SWITCH (Intelli Touch W32 Wall Control) to match... It was an EASY JOB.

Remember to ground out your hands before touching delicate electronic equipment (or an anti static wrist strap)...!!

Also remember... the REAL PROFESSIONALS always remove power (when possible).

Be SAFE.

The lights suddenly stopped working. It is only about 2 years old. When you turn the switch on they will briefly come on and then go off.

Hello Lisa Gray James,

I had the luxury of having a couple of old Casa Blanca fans in the house when ours went kaput (but the point I will try to make
is quite portable... between MANUFACTURERS.

Typically most wall controlled fans are designed to work over a standard light-switch circuit. the ADDITIONAL functions are accomplish through EACH vendors own proprietary switch-fan interface... (in the Casa Blanca case I am attaching below) they use their "RF" signals from their switch... and the control boards emit audible tone to make the user confident something is working.

I had NOT yet discovered the availability of the replacement unit below... but by swapping the living-room switch with the bedroom switch I was able to prove the trouble to Casa Blanca's 21Z2 control board (inside the fan)

Old style 21Z2: no longer available

Inteli Touch Circuit Board RMM 9901120 or 7801240

is manufacture discontinued (Inteli-Touch & Inteli-Touch II)

but the replacement units (Inteli-Touch 3) will work nicely...
Casa Blanca recommended that BOTH the switch (W32)
and control board should be changed... I complied.

(saved my good W12 switch as a spare)

BUT DO NOT hesitate to call the FAN MAN to discuss your options and needs... it looks like a multi vendor site... and I have also seen them on AMAZON.COM

The globe for my casa vieja ceiling fan broke. where can i buy a new one? how do I measure the size to know what I need?

You can find replacement globes at most lighting or building supply stores. The dimention you need is the diameter of the circle that the globe sits into.
