I have a Maytag front loading washing. I put the dial on cold water, but it shoots out hot, and yes the hoses are connected right then if u put it on hot it starts out cold but then it's rinses hot .

Certainly sounds like the hoses are reversed. There are usually two hoses, one blue and one red. Sometimes they are just grey. On the bottom of the washing machine are two hose connectors. One should be blue and one red. Check that the red hose hasn't been connected to the blue (cold) male connector. Then make sure those are correctly fitted to the hot and cold supply.

Hi, how to you add more freon to 9,000 btu fugitronic portable a/c? Thanks

From the condensing unit you can see two valves. Connect the blue hose to the bigger pipe sometimes marked "S" to the suction manifold gauge with the blue dial. The discharge valve "D" is the smaller pipe and connect it to the red hose going to the red dial gauge. After connecting the hoses respectively, open the blue handle of the manifold to release air from the blue hose and close it. The same thing should be done to the red handle valve of the manifold. Connect the yellow hose to your freon cylinder and slightly open the cylinder valve while connecting it to the middle of the gauge manifold. Now, there is no air from all hoses and you can start charging freon when the unit start running. Check suction pressure and the Rated Load Ampere of the unit

I want to find red hoses for the radiator for bill blass 1990 mark vii

The only thing I have ever seen are metal hoses. They have a rubber sleeve that hose clamps on.
Earl's has some but I think they are stainless with colored ends.
You can try or
May also search for these in Spectra brand.
The only time I have seen colored rubber hoses are blue ones and they are really silicon high pressure hoses (police cars use them)
Good luck on finding red hoses. I like red!

I bought a new washer and just hooked it up to the old water hoses that had been working fine. When i went to turn on the washer it sounded like it would fill but no water every came in.

First you should always replace both flexible hoses .. and replace them every five years.

A few things to check right away.

DId you try all temps? There is a 50/50 chance you have mated the cold hose to the hot inlet and the hot hose to the cold inlet on the washing machine mixing valve. Most machines have a blue and red ring denoting which is which.

Some machines have plugs set inside the inlet valve to prevent debris from getting in until installation.. obviously if these were not removed first no water would make it into the tub.

Turn the water off..dissconnect the hoses.. (have a towel or bucket nearby).. inspect the water inlets for those shipping plugs.

Run some water into the bucket to determine which hose is hot.. and reconnect to the proper inlet (Red for hot and Blue for cold) and try again

Again..If you have not replaced those hoses in the past five years.. get some new ones!

Best of luck!

Whirlpool duet washing machine Hot and cold water are inverted when filling up the machine's bassin: I choose cold water and it fills up with hot water. The rinse cycle is fine though. What could be the...

The Cold inlet for this machine is on the right side.. with a blue indicator ring on it. When I say Right this is looking at the machine from the back.. Left if looking at the machine from the front. in other words the inlet closest to the edge of the machine.

If you are able to pull the machine out from the wall a little.. Start the fill cycle with cold water reach behind the machine and feel the supply hoses. If the hose closest to the edge of the machine is warm.. you simply have the hoses hooked up wrong.

Turn off the water.. swap hoses.. and all should be well..

I doubt the blue colour ring was put on the wrong inlet.. but.. stranger things have happened.

The Hot inlet should be indicated with a red colour ring..

In most installs the hoses will cross over each other.. not unusal at all. Always use new hoses when installing a washer.

Good luck

No Ink going to the drum

Good day, there are several reason why theres no ink comming inside the drum. These are the following reason why:
1. Loose rubber O-ring in nozzle of your pump unit.
2. Broken inking hose.(hose size 12 & 10)
3. Clog from ink filter between the nozzle and inking hose.
4. Malfunction on pump motor.
You should verify all those item by dismantling those parts. Just replace any of those parts your drum will surely pump ink again.

Water line leaking

unscrew the back panel and look if the plastic hose for the water (on the left side, goes to the blue/red valve block) is broken. If it is then you can buy a silicon tube or hose in a hardware store which fits on both ends (measure the diameter) you also need to buy two metal rings with a screw (don't know the name of these) which you can put over the connection to tighten it. The old hose has become very brittle in my case and this solved the issue

Leaking Water Filter mount.

Check this link.(LINK) press the blue word (control or icemaker ) in location part and it should show you the picture of what you need. It looks like a fitting assy. This means the end of the fitting connected to the hose has a outer/inner ring. This means the ring ocer the hose shuffs into the assy to close. Take a screwdriver and pull the ring outward, (wont come off) just far enough out. Push the hose a little deeper now while holding the outer ring you should now be able to pull the hose out.
