Question about Toshiba Satellite Pro A210-EZ2202X Notebook

Toshiba laptop frozen on logging off screen; won't switch off, nothing working. Tried esc, cad, now trying to run down battery. Any ideas?

I unplugged the a/c adapter, took the battery out then plugged in again and everything was fine. Otherwise, when I tried to turn off it would just sleep. But that's the way I solved it.

Black Screen after logging on!?


I think it might be ur registry on the computer. Try this:

1.Press Ctrl+Shift+ Esc to bring up task manager.

2,Click File, then NewTask(Run...)

3. type explorer.exe then hit enter.

if this dons't work than i don't know what to tell you. : (

My laptop was left with the top down and turned on. It was plugged in and when I opened it to use it again, the screen remained black. I tried using different keys but nothing would happen. I unplugged...


Hi, Nan.

Disconnect the power adapter, flip the laptop, unlock and remove the battery. Then, reinsert and lock the battery, connect the power adapter and try again.

Cursor is frozen, tried allsorts to solve it. Nowt works. Using mouse with usb cable, works fine. Synaptic logo from bottom right of screen also gone. Tried system restore and it works until I log on...


Sounds like a driver issue with the touch pad. You should try and reinstall the driver.

Can't get into BIOS on my Toshiba Laptop


Hi
No manufacturers password that I have ever heard of but you can remove your keyboard and disconnect the mother board (BIOS) battery. Leave it disconnected for a few minutes. When reconnected the password should be gone. A few laptops actually have a jumper to do this.

Toshiba® 335 CDS ESC Toshiba Protege ESC Toshiba Satellite 205 CDS F1 Toshiba Tecra ESC then F1 or F2 Toshiba Notebook [Newer models]
1. Turn on computer by Holding down power button while pressing the ESC key.
The machine will beep, then display:
Check System, then press [F1] key.
2. Release ESC key
3. Press F1 key

Toshiba laptop stuck


try to use the restore cd.. .. select boot from the cd/dvd and boot the repair features with the OS

look at the boot screen that initially shows up and get in the setup.... switch the cd/dvd to be the boot device that starts first...

run the cd/dvd installation normally until you find a repair feature.....

then follow the standard repair method

FROZEN IN LOGGING OFF MODE


go to control panel , sounds - under windows sign off choose no sound for this event.

If all else fails depress the power button until it powers off (longer than 5-10 seconds) or remove battery. after restart go into bios setup and reset default values and re-start your computer
