Sounds like your coil is bad. Fortunately they are fairly cheap and fairly easy to install. I would replace the coil.

Kenmore 70 series wahing machine wont start rinse cycle

Have you tried the rinse cycle in every wash cycle selection on the dial. Some times after using one particular dial setting all the time the contacts on the switch get corroded or burnt out, if the rinse cycle works in other settings on the dial then this is most likely the problem. You can then look up on line and order a new switch for the unit usually takes about two weeks to get in and is fairly easy to replace.

Saw wont start has gettin fuel and spark but how do u check the coil for proper spark , has new plug pregapped

As long as there is a spark visible it should start, most of these units work off speed of rotation so there will not be a blue spark unless you crank the engine fairly fast with the plug out, spark tester are usually a dummy plug with a larger gap than normal to load the ignition up, they are fairly cheap, however you could just increase the gap on a standard plug out to about 6mm and see if the spark will jump that, on a side note make sure the plug is well earthed on the cylinder and well away from the open plug hole.

It wont start, IGN module is new, battery is new, starter and alternator are fairly new, could it be fuel pump, it rumbled when i thought it would start then nothing

If you want to test it have someone spray some starting fluide in the air cleaner.while spinning the engin over. If it starts the pump or the fuel pump relay are bad.

My 1987 toyata camry would not start, it had no spark, mechanic thinks it's the distributer, but it is running again. could it last a while without getting a new distributer

its probably the ignition module in the distributor, can be intermittent,or stop when hot, sometimes module is intergrated into distributor so it may come as 1 unit, fairly common wont fix itself

1998 Skylark wont start, but turn over (clicking from alternator) battery fairly new.

Are you getting fire to the plugs?

Are you getting fuel?

"Won't start" doesn't tell me anything.
