Question about Kitchen Appliances - Others
HI I have a sesam 200 garagedoor opener/lift.Suddenly, it stopped working.I quickly switched, with the wall switch, between opening and closing and back again. The motor stopped, the lightbulb went broken, and after that the thing is almost dead. When I press the wall switch, I hear the power being applied to the motor for a few seconds, and then the power is switched off automatically (probably some safety mechanism).I have disassembled the motor, the motor runs free in its bearings, no damage on the gears.i don't know what the problem can be.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.Alex

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If the light on the opener flashes when this happens, count the flashes (which indicate the type of problem) and consult your owners manual. If you don't have the owners manual, you can find a digital copy online at the manufacturer's website. Also, check your manual for an adjustment that tells the opener how much resistance you want it to tolerate before reversing.

hi my name is mark, sounds like the clean switch is sticking. does this unit have a membrane in front of switch. switch might be wet. also you might let the clean time out, then restart unit.

SOURCE: i am locked out of my garage
Pull the emergency release red handle down and back (toward the opener). The door can then be raised and lowered manually as often as necessary.

SOURCE: Door locked on safe
Brian We can't give advise on the safe but you can call the manufacture of the safe and if you have registered it they will help you otherwise federal law requires a lock smith to identify you and your information and your ownership of the safe before they will unlock it for you. This is to protect you or the safe owner and the lock smith from being sued and losing his licence.. There should be a sticker on the safe with a 800 number for you to call to get help. But you must have registered it first. They may have a way to verify it some other way but am not sure.
