I have new Bush Wacker ST 180 15 ft brush hog hyd not workin right

Will the pto engauge with out the brushhog hooked up to the pto . Can you turn the drive shaft on the brushhog when it is unhooked from the tractor is any thing bound up around the shaft for blade .if the tractors pto will ingage with out the hog hooked up i would say u may have a bearing locking up or something bound up under neath the hog if not bad bearing mor than l?kely

1st thing to look at is condition and color of hyd oil , if its dark(dirty) or cloudy (water) id start with fresh oil and filter , some machines have a threaded gauge port to ck there pump output with (gauges are way cheaper than pumps) , if pressure is lower than 500 psi then yes you have a problem , and yes there usually is a relief valve inside the pump housing all of these things can be affected by dirt or water in the oil

pto is on the tractor, not on the bush hog, if it won't engage you have pto problems on tractor, needs to be serviced

The speed of the PTO on every tractor I've owned has been directly related to engine RPM and there has been no other way to change it.
Did your bush hog work with it at one time? If it did, what has changed since then? That might give an indication of a possible fix. It may be that the tractor and bush hog are not compatible.

any sears repair center would be glad to do this for you , also if your handy with a simple screwdriver , then they also will sell you the parts to fix it your self , id suggest replacing the entire trigger and cord assembly just for piece of mind, also a ck of the motors brushes (life) would be a smart thing to do as well

I think you should get hold of the manufacturer and ask if they do one. It's too hard for anyone to guess.

It is probably an issue with the sub amplifier, but could be a blown speaker if it has been driven too hard. If you bought it new within the last year then you should be able to get it repaired under guarantee at the shop you bought it from.
