Open Safari. Press Command and , (comma) at the same time or goto the upper left corner of your screen and click the drop down menu Safari (right beside the Apple picture)in the menu bar. Then choose Preferences. Make sure it has opened up onto the General tab by clicking the light switch icon in the upper left of the pop-up window. Look for Homepage it should be the sixth item in the list (Pending on the version of OS you run - I assuming Mavericks). Now you can manually enter, copy and paste the web address for google or simply goto the page for google and click the button right under the Homepage field that states Set to Current Page.
