If its a frost free fridge it wont make cold if the fan isnt running
you can test for power on the fan if there is power but still not running the fan is bad

possably a problem with the outside condensor fan motor. Pls check
1.) when unit is running is the outside fan motor also runnng. My guess is the outside fan is locked bad motor ect. Unit would only run maybe 30 seconds before cycling on its overload
There should be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel
or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when
troubleshooting, &
testing.
At
our Web site, we have a video available
showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5
minutes.
Some questions to help you or someone you know troubleshoot it:
When you hit "Start" to microwave, do
the inside light, cooling fan, and turntable
all come on?
If not, then you probably have a bad door switch or door switch mount and should
see these files:
If the inside light, cooling fan, and
turntableare all coming on, then the problem
is in the high voltage section, and then the next questions arise:
Any unusual noises? Is it louder or quieter
than usual?
We have a sound clip of what a
microwave should sound like when the cooling fan and high voltage section are
operating here.
A loud buzz, hum, or groan is usually a shorted high voltage rectifier diode,
but a sound like gurgling into an empty
coffee mug is one symptom of a failed magnetron, and yet the mag can be bad
without that sound.
If there's no unusual noise, it may just be a bad connection at the magnetron.
Here are some links you or someone you know can use (in order given) for high
voltage section test help, but read the safety warnings first:

(if it is NOT shorted or burned looking, it's probably fine)
The compressor is probably not runnng.
The Main reasons that this will happen
1 - A bad run capacitor (silver or metal capacitor)
It’s either shorted, grounded or open.
If it’s shorted a lot of times it will bulge out, (sometimes slightly)
2 - A bad start kit ( plastic capacitor and Relay connected to it )
The capacitor is either shorted or open
The relay either has an open coil between terminals #1 and #5
Or the relay is stuck.
Any time you change the capacitor or relay you should change
the other, especially if they are over a year old.
3 - A loose, burnt or disconnected wire
4 - Wired wrong
5 Compressor is open (windings burnt open)
6 Low on charge not getting enough cooling back to compressor, (Feel top of compressor to see if it’s hot it shouldn‘t be)
7 Some compressors have a black plastic overload under the compressor cap which could be bad.
