There should be two tanks under the hood on the passenger side, one should be marked engine coolant, the other washer fluid. Do NOT confuse one for the other. On the side of the ENGINE COOLANT tank there are marks, The lowest one(cold) or highest one (hot) you can check the coolant either cold or hot, fill to the correct line depending on whether the engine is cold( not running for several hours) or hot( you just got done driving it.)

SOURCE: fuse box diagram

www.edmonds.com for owner manuals online I also have a 2000 expedition and it is normally one of the coil packs is out if you have an autozone near you they will put it on the tester for free and that way you will know what is wrong and if it is the coil pack if you are standing in front of the truck looking at the engine this is how the cylinder location is on the passanger side back to the back of the engine is one thru four and on driverside is five thru eight so when they tell you which coil pack is bad you will know which one to replace and you can get just the boot and a new spring and replace that for around $6 to $8 then replacing the whole thing for around $65. try www.autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

Need a coolant temperature sensor wiring diagram for a 2004 pontiac grand prix gtp

Check engine light on ? The coolant temp sensor is a input to the PCM - engine computer ! All wires come from an go to the PCM . What type of problem are you having ? Maybe able to save you some aggravation an time chasing gremlins . Coolant gauge not working ?
Engine Coolant Temperature Gage
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the engine coolant temperature as determined by the powertrain control module (PCM) or the engine control module (ECM). The IPC receives a serial data message from the PCM/ECM indicating the engine coolant temperature. The engine coolant temperature gage defaults to 100°F (38°C) if there is a malfunction in the engine coolant temperature sensor or the IPC detects a loss of serial data communication with the PCM/ECM.

But if you insist ,you can find free wiring diagram's here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine ! Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button then the blue link. The second an third diagrams both show coolant temp sensors . Both go to the PCM .

Coolant leakfrom fanbelt side of the engine, where can I find engine layout diagrams?

the easiest way to get a diagram is to go to auto-zone or advance and buy one of those little books that they sell. it`ll show you everything you need to know.(the book is a soft cover ) just look for your year of vehicle i believe it cost around 10-15 dollars depends on where you live.

Cooling fans dont engage! 1998 oldsmobile silhouette!

Your Problem Can VERY WELL BE with the Temp Sensor, As It Is the First in This Electrucal Circut . it Waits for 210-230 Degree Engine temp and Gives that Sygnal to the ECM then ECM Grounds out the Cooling FAN RELAY To Turn ON the FANS and the Temp Sensor is Usualy THE #1 Culpret Closley in front of the RELAY.
There are 2 Sensors On this Vehicle The One You Replaced and One Located At Trans Side of
Engine Closer to Front of Vehicle At the Head ,Thereis a 2 wire Plug On it and This Sensor Goes to the ECT witch CONTROLS COOLING FAN RELAY. Hope this Helps and if you Need A Diagram For this It Must be Emailed as FixYa Does NOT Support Large Picture Files. My Email Add. Is MY

New Motor, Heater not working, Leaking Antifreeze

Your car is overheating because you did not bleed the cooling system. The hanging hose may be the overflow drain. Unbolt the coolant reservoir, and raise it as high as you can. Start the motor, and add coolant until the heater starts blowing heat. You will see air bubbles in the reservoir until all of the air is out. This is a common procedure when doing any cooling system maintenance on Celicas.
