Hi, I got a GE refrigerator model GFSS6KKXASS and the spring responsible to keep the piece that isolate two doors together it's broken. Does someone knows where can I find that spring to buy? Thanks

I am having the same problem with my GE 2005 refrigerator. Anyone find a solution yet?
SOURCE: Location of GE refrigerator circuit board
The main board is located behind the unit at the lower right hand corner behind a panel that's about 8" X 12".
SOURCE: GE French Door handle loose
To tighten the screw the first step is to remove the handle. With this model just pull straight up on the handle. It can take a little force but after it finally unclips it moves up an inch or two then pulls straight out. Good luck!

You can replace the doors but you will think you bought a new frig when you see what they cost. Most come as an assembly and are very expensive.

yes you can.remove two screws from under one side pull it away slightly and it will come away.you will then have one housing on both sides left in the fridge wall, they will have a little pressure on them from the springs. just prise them away. you will need help to replace them, as you need pressure against the spring to keep the door closed. you can buy springs and housings seperately from camec there is left and right housings.give me a call if you need to ..
