The manual doesn't explain how to thread bobbin correctly

I can't do it either! Please someone help. This machine is a birthday present and it cost my husband £800! It's unuseable if I can't work out how to make the bobbin 'click'

You thread the bobin by putting spool on post and then winding around the tension thingy.
I looked on line and saw a video how to do it

The upper thread will not pick up bobbin thread

Make sure the needles are the correct size, fully inserted into the needle bar and oriented correctly for your machine. If that doesn't work check the timing. The hook should arrive at the needle scarf when the needle is at the lowest point in it's travel. If it doesn't... go have it timed by a pro.

After I sew I can pull the bottom stitching right out. What causes this? Help

The problem is most likely thread tension. First try loosening the upper thread tension (numbered wheel on left side of most machines), if this doesn't rectify the problem then check the bobbin case tension. Correct bobbin case tension can be verified by holding the bobbin case with bobbin inserted and thread extended several inches. If you grasp the thread the bobbin case should not descend rapidly (fall) but should unspool slightly when thread is quickly tugged upward. Cannot thread bobbin

If I remember correctly this machine has a little arm in the bobbin case area. You will need to open the slide plate, move that arm towards the middle of the bobbin. Thread your machine as normal, take the thread going through the needle eye and wrap it around the thumb screw a couple times, then start "sewing" your bobbin should begin filling, once started, you can release the thread wrapped around the thumbscrew. Once filled, you simply close the slide plate and that moves the arm back into place and start sewing.

Looped bottom thread

Sorry I missed your problem, I have just signed up on here to help with problems like yours.
Thread looping underneath the cloth is a bobbin tension problem.
Folks in general are not aware that in addition to the top tension being set correctly so must the bobbin tension.
It is impossible to explain how to do this you need to be shown. However it should be explained how to do it in your manual.

Threading my bobbin and correct tension

If you go to this link, it shows for the 117.591 model, but it is threaded the same exact way as the 117.959, that will thread the machine and bobbin, I have used this to thread my machine which is the 117.959, and it sewed perfectly until I started messing with the tension, I still haven't figured that part out yet, but I will and when I do, I will let you know. You should be able to thread the bobbin correctly with the manual, if you are pulling the bobbin through the hole the needle is going down in, your bobbin is threaded correctly, if the problem is like mine, your not making stitches, the problem is with the tension. I hope I have helped and if not, sorry.
