Question about GPX iLive IB-R2807DPBLK Portable Music System with iPod Dock (47323228070) Docking Station

My ILIVE Cd/Boom Box with dock for IPOD model IBCD2817DPBLK will not play either IPOD or CD without continually pausing the track.

    Is there a way to reset the entire system to see if that works? I bought this on vacation and returning it is going to be problematic if not impossible.

    Thanks. The vacation was a month ago. That's when I bought this thing. So I can't just take it back. We'll see what the customer service from I Live says. Of course, I don't have the receipt...since I didn't expect the thing to NOT WORK within a month. Thanks for your help.

This is a known fault with the ILIVE Cd/Boom Box.

You have no option other than to return it to the vendor for a refund or service repair.

    I'm sorry but no - there is no way to reset it. The fault is in the unit itself.

    Thats annoying for you as you cannot easily return the unit to the original vendor. Unfortunately an awful lot of these units seem to be playing up within a very short space of time. The fact that it is only a month old will actually help your case. If you can find the serial no. on the unit that might be enough for customer service as they should be able to determine the age of the unit from the serial in most cases.

ILive Bar Speaker not playing sound


I have an iLive bar speaker ipod dock and it has worked great until today. The sound isn't working. You can hear that it is on, but it isn't playing music. The display works and everything. Is this fixable?

ILive boombox is connected to wall plug but doesnot charge iPod


different systems work in werid ways if you cant get it to work by remote make sure its plugged up (right/well) and retry you may have a faulty jack on ipod or the system

IPod beeps continuously while docked.


I had the same issue with my iPod. It might be because your not using the correct size holder for whatever iPod type you have. Or this could be an indication that the speakers are wearing out.

ILive docking station not working properly


hello everyone with this problem I bought a use unit last sunday and it was working ok till next day then not sound not light , I try to push every botton and shut off and on but nothing , after many times I decide to open the boom box , and resoldering all the connections take like 1hour but now the unit works perfect the only thing is the blue light never came on , but cd works fine and radio also the dock for the ipod , is working fine

Ilive ib7 ipod won't play


Hello, I had the same problem and I was about to return it to the store and finally figure it out...
The IPOD buttton wont work unless you really plug the IPOD in the craddle... I was thinking all the time that it was pluged, but it was not... You need to aligned it.. When you think is pluged look between the IPOD and the Boom box and you will have a better view... If you have the Classic IPOD like me, you will have to slide the plug on the boom box to the right... Try my friend....

Ilive boom box


Try opening it up. Use some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and clean the lens. Don't press too hard, just pres down a tincy wincy bit but don't press too hard. Then use a dry q-tip to wipe up the excess rubbing alcohol. Then put the boombox back together.

Ipod wont work


The problem is "ipod dock receiver connector"(connector is fuck), move forward and backwards the ipod just point the ipod can play the songs..
