I can't turn it on

I push the red button and nothing happens. Is there a fuse I should replace? I just got it back from the company in New Jersey and do not want to do this again. Is there anyone who makes house calls? This scanner has just been checked out and found to be fine. I must be doing something really stupid, but I don't know what it is. I need a visit. I can't be shipping this thing back and forth. Do you know anyone who comes? I am near Pasadena, California. Thank you.

My Kenwood DPX-4020 suddenly went "dead". No power whatsoever on the led's and nothing happens when i push any/all of the buttons. I have it reset many times, checked the wiring's and fuses at...

1st you need to check the fuse in the fuse panel in your car to see for some reason the radio fuse is not blown . if is change it . if not take your radio out and see if fuses for radio is blow on back of radio then some have a fuse on the red wire check fuse there too. if nothing buy a digital volt meter and start checking your ground wire to see if it broke . take volt meter turn on dc volts put black test lead on your radio ground then take the red test lead and and start touching the yellow wire to see if you get a 12 volts on meter if you get 12 volts ground is good ... then check the red wire turn on the ignition switch and put the red test lead on red wire and see if you get 12volts if nothing

either you have bad ground or you have a fuse blow in car some were .. if you can't figure it out call a local mecp certified shop and have them look at it ....

its possible that the radio is just died and you need to buy a new one electronics dont last forever when you use them daily ...

I have a replica Rolex Oyster perpetual cosmogram daytona. It has no day date chronogram function, so the stem just pulls out to set the time. I did this, pushed the stem to its first position, wound it,...

There are 2 scenario's here the first being the most likely:

If your dead set on not taking it to a jewelery store then. You can attempt to remove the back off yourself, you must however be very careful not to damage yourself or the watch in the process. The backs are normaly pressed on in these replica watches and the battery is located in the back of the case. You need to get somthing flat to lever the back off like a bread knife somthing sharper may work better to get in the groove but it also increases the danger factor. Once you pry the back off you should'nt have any problems removing the battery, just be careful with the battery holder they are delicate. When you replace the battery just press the back back on.

The other scenario is that it is a clone of the perpetual movement these clones aparently exist, although I have never seen one. If it's a clone of the real movement then if you shake the watch it moves a pendulum inside and winds the unit up, these watches don't need winding hence the word perpetual. Hope this is the solution you were after.

Hitachi model 50UX22B turning off on its own

The TV is in shutdown. The red LED is the shutdown indicator. Check fuse E994. If its open, the TV will need the deflection P.C.B. replaced. Its probably not worth the repair costs. These sets also have had problems with the voltage regulator circuit, requiring replacement of the regulator IC at a more reasonable cost.

Television died

Unplug the set, remove the back and follow the power cord onto the main board, where you will see a small glass fuse. Replace that fuse with a new GMA 6.3 amp fuse. I have seen many of those fuses in Panasonics "pop" for no apparent reason. If that does not fix it then replace the back and have the set serviced by an experienced tech.
