Surge protectors either have a switch that trips or a fuse that blows when high current passes through. This is a safety mechanism that protects your appliances from an "electrical surge".
The fuse is most likely blown. you can easily check if the fuse still works with a multimeter. If it isnt, change it and the strip should start working again. ( if u have a reset button on the spike, try hittin that. Im not sure if this model has a fuse or the breaker switch that trips.)
