Is there a way to hook up a drain pipe to this dehumidifier so that it drains automatically and doesnt need to be emptied? If so, please explain what we need for a pipe and how this works.

Go to repairclinic.com and put in the model number, the part you need is around $6.

no way unless you do it "aftermarket" might cause problems
